Charlie and Lori Breuel are proud to have handled many lovely antiques over 40 years of collecting and selling. We are pleased to know that we have helped clients build collections and decorate their homes.

Although we specialize in clocks, we have expanded our inventory to include furniture, art and decorative accessories.

We are part of a new gallery!

The art of collecting ...

... opens the door to the beauty of the past! Knowledge of our history defines us, revealing the successes and failures of previous generations to improve and provide comfort in their daily lives.

We are amazed by the variety of approaches used to construct a chest of drawers, for example, it varies from region to region. A New England cabinetmaker may use solid wood, straight and simple lines while one from New York may use veneers and a variety of embellishments. All of these qualities depend on the craftsman's training, talent, clientele and the products he has at his disposal. Very often they both would have access to style books from Europe.

These wonderful objects have survived to the current day, because many of us, past and present, have cherished and cared for them.

In the present climate of speed, high tech and modern decor, antiques large and small, easily blend in to provide interest and texture. Most antiques can be enjoyed and used on a daily basis, not hidden away for no one to see.
